Wild Orchid Challenge No. 2

Hi there,

Where are the days going? they just seem to be rushing by so fast, I looked at the clock and after what I thought was 15 minutes, an hour had past! - please can it just slow down:-

Still no time to craft today - I made this card a couple of days ago for the Wild Orchid challenge number 2 - (did I mention I WON CHALLENGE NUMBER 1 - even though it was chose by the RG thingy - i'm still chuffed as mint balls - boy are those flowers awesome no wonder they are number one for their products) I've gone quite simple again - my brain just won't get into gear with fussy at the moment - (does this have something to do with having 3 kids of different ages on holiday ?!!!) I used a LOTV stamp again, lace from Lancaster Market, flowers from Wild Orchid all else from stash.

Thanks for visiting.

Lili of the Valley challenge 58

Good evening ladies,
Gosh it's been quite a while since I last posted - not for the want of trying, but i've been just sooo busy at work - covering holidays for my colleague which means working full time - I've been part time for the last 14 years so to do full time and two peoples jobs has just taken it out of me! - I don't know how some of you lot do it!

Anyway I'm posting a card that I made a few days ago for of course the LOTV challenge - a fab sketch by Bev.
I've used one of their beautiful flower fairies - with paper and velum fom my stash, coloured using Promarkers and flowers from my stash, MS frond punch and my new large butterfly punch. I made the wings from fantasy film and cut an extra pair for dimension.
Well that's it for me for tonight, hopefully a good nights sleep (with hopefully a lay in) will help me recover - Hope you are all keeping well.
Hugs,
Sarah

Passion for Promarkers Challenge.

It's me again,
Just time to upload this next card for Passion for Promarkers Challenge - to have an animal on the card. I have dragons (would they count) and not a lot of other animals so found this image sent to me by a friend.I must be in the plain and simple mood at the moment as you can tell from my cards. Anyway need to get an early night as got a full week of work - i'm only used to doing 3 days!
Sorry it's short and sweet.

LOTV

Yet another wet day - so much for my holiday tan! Anyway it gave me an excuse to craft (not that I needed an excuse!) I made this card a few days ago and forgot to post it - it is the sketch for LOTV challenge. I decided to try doing a monochromatic style.

I kept it quite minimalistic - what do you think?

The Sugar Bowl Challenge.

Hi there,

We are on the countdown to Christmas, after June I always say, I'm going to be more prepared this year, get all my Christmas cards done early, present shopping done bit by bit instead of rushing, but know that it will be a rush at the end. Yes I know it is a little early, but as you all know there are so many good blogs out there to visit and challenges to do that I think I'm going to have to slip one or two in quite early so here is my first....

I love this stamp and think it makes a really good Christmas image.

The card is for The Sugar Bowl Challenge and sketch and to use something blue (yep check on the blue!) and Cute Card Thursday - get a head start on your Christmas cards.

I've coloured using distressed inks, and the snowflakes have had a dusting of polar white flower soft. Her muff has been flocked and plenty of stickles to her colar, cuffs and ribbons.
Well that is my first one out of the way - don't even want to count how many at the moment I have left to do!
Hope you are enjoying the start of your weekend.

Hugs

Pretty in Pink.

Hello ladies,
Hope you have had a good start to the week, I think my family is all over the "bugs" that are going around - all have had it bar DH! - I will dread it if he gets it, not only is he a man and they don't do illnesses very well, but he does have to take medication to supress his immune system so he can't afford to pick up any bugs!
Anyway, I'm on holiday this week, i'm collecting too many days in lieu so have to start taking some time off, which is fine by me, I had time to "play".
It fits in with:-
Just Magnolia Challenge - 3 Flowers, 2 Papers & 1 Ribbon,
and I love Promarkers - Distressing.

Are you like me, visit a blog and think = that is lovely, I'm gonna have to get one of those, or I like that, that will have to go on my wish list, well Santa if you looking, my list is nearly a foot long and I've been such a good girl, how about doing Christmas twice a year lol!

Well i'm off to play again once I've got the kidiwinkies sorted out - have a fab evening and thanks for your visit.

Give us a laugh

This is the second post today for Passion for Promarkers - give us a laugh. This is one of my older stamps I have - I got it cause it reminded me of my cat (which has now passed away) always getting itself into trouble/mischief!

Totally Tilda.

Hello there,
Just a quick couple of pics to upload - I think I'm getting the bug that is going around, I feel all woozy and not too hot! So will keep this short. This is for the new Totally Tilda challenge - chocolate - I made it quite plain just simple lines.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Hi,
Today has absolutely flown by - is that just a thing that happens when you get older? Anyway just a quick post today for the Sugar Bowl Challenge a sketch to follow. I had a good old route through my drawers and used up old bits of paper ribbon, vellum and flower embelishments - this is what I came up with.
Hope you all have a good week,

Criss Cross

Wow i'm on the puter 11 / 12 hours earlier than usual (that's a first lol). I've already played Princesses with my daughter so she is having a little sleep on the bed with a pea in it (just pretend) so i've snuck a little time to post this card I made yesterday. It is another first for making this style of card, gosh I do like visiting blogs that give so much inspiration.

Challenges
Simon Says - checks.
Sir Stampalot - Lazy Hazy Days of Summer.
Just Magnolia - Criss Cross card.

I've been sorting through my stamps and need another box to house my Magnolias - they have surpassed all other stamps I have - wonder why? !!! Oh and here is a little picture of a couple of boxes I had a play at making - I've tweeked the right hand one to make any contents that are put in it a little more secure.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Pop Up First.

Hi, Another glorious day, wow, let it continue - i'm not going abroad this year (again) for my hols so will have to rely on the Great British weather! This is my summer! Anyway I had a play today - it was just a little too hot to take the kids out for a walk so let them do their own thing ;)

The Magnolia-licious Highlights challenge was to make a pop up card - I've seen them but never made one - time to give it a go. I've kept it quite simple for my first attempt.
The card fits Magnolia-licious Highlights - Pop up card.
Allsorts Challenge - create a scene - (hope this counts)
Thanks for hopping by.

For a friend.

Good evening peeps,
I was asked to make for a friend's son to sent to his school mate who is 5, of course I had to use one of my Magnolia stamps. My daughter now has two favourite Magnolias, a bog and a girl which she calls the twins, every time I craft, she has to have them stamped so she can colour with me, bless, the artist in a 3 year old is really coming out. I have managed to combine a few challenges, but wanted primarily a blue card (obviously for a boy).

Challenges:-
Magnolia Birthday Bash - Red, White and Blue and sketch
OSAAT - Stars and Stripes.
Stamp with Fun - Birthday.
Papertake Weekly - stitching on the card (mine is fake of course)
Passion for Promarkers - numbers on the card.

Hopefully I'll have a little more time to have a play in the craft room this weekend - hope you all have a good weekend = enjoy and thanks for popping by.
