Born to Shop

Second post today,

Isn't it annoying when you have a sticky keyboard and have to type things several times in order for it to make sense!

Here is another quicky for the Just Magnolia challenge of a sketch prepared by Dawny P. I just love the flowers from Wild Orchid and had to put some on my card - I think they really accessorise a card well. I used my latest Maggie - (boy do I wish I could win the lottery, mainly so I can keep up to date with all the fab stamp collections that they keep bringing out). Papers are a mix of Papermania and Dovecraft, calligraphy pens, Promarkers, Wild Orchid flowers, ms punch.

Thanks for stopping by and any comments you may leave,
Hugs,

White on White

Good evening peeps,

Why do weekends go so fast? - it's Monday again ....... already. Anyway, here is another card from the weekend, I even managed to make it without my daughter's assistance! lol

I haven't used this SugarNellie stamp in ages - she just looks like my daughter did this summer with her pig tails in and dungarees on - it was really easy to colour. I promise that all the accessories are shades of white - even though they look lemony in the picture

Challenges:-

I love Promarkers - White on White

Colour Create - White with coloured image

The Sugar Bowl - sketch

OSAAT - Anything goes

Boy do I hate dark nights - it feels like there is never enough hours in the day to get everything done that I want to :(

Take Care,

Time to share

It's me again,
Here is another card that Emma helped with - in my last post I said she had got hold of my promarkers - well she started to colour !!........ but gave me an idea for the LOTV challenge - Untraditional Christmas. Emma part coloured in about 6 of these teddies - I picked the best ones and she helped finish off the "colouring in" by holding the pen as I coloured (have you ever tried that, it is quite hard to do!) She did say I had to share my craft things. She helped add the stickles to - don't look too hard as you can see a smudge / finger print or two. I'm keeping this short as I'm now gonna have to bath one little girl!!
Thanks for looking.

An extra pair of hands

Hi there,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I've just spent the afternoon making cupcakes with my daughter and then messing around in my craft room with her. It has been so quite in my household, one son has gone away with Scouts for the weekend in a camping competition, the other has gone to Kirkby Lonsdale Kayaking.
My daughter has helped me with this card .... she chose the image for me to colour and chose the circles in the corners and the flowers! She even used the cuttlebug to cut the nestie shapes out. I just had to put in in the challenge I was going to do myself as she wanted to see it in my blog! (the demands of a 3 1/2 year old! lol) I did the stickles myself but am wondering why Emma is covered in glitter! This is for the Simon Says Challenge. a sketch.

Voila!! Not too bad a joint effort. Only now she is using my promarkers as felt tips aaaarrrhhh!

Thanks for taking a peek.

Goodbye

Hiya,

It always seems like my computer life is at night time when the kids have gone to bed ... hopefully I am typing sense even though my eyelids are a little tired!!

Anyways, here is a card that I am quite chuffed with. Tilda was bought last week from my Manchester crafting spree. Isn't she just gorgeous. I have made my own flowers for this card which fits a couple of challenges. I think I am going through a purple stage in my life - either that or I have to many bp in purple tones.

Challenges:-

Just Magnolia - Sketch.
Totally Tilda - make your own flowers.
Totally gorgeous - flowers on your card.
Papertake weekly - my take on a photo

The flowers were made using two Marianne Design dies, flourish was a sizzix sizzlit, bp from creative memories and coloured with promarkers.

Thank you for stopping by and for any comments you may leave, they do make my day.

Twirl around.

Good evening peeps,

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for a new working week (aggghhh - got to go back to work tomorrow! ) Just time to post this before bed time! Gosh looking back I had a week off and hardly got anything done - someone has stolen some of the week!!!
Anyways back to the card. I thought I'd be a little bit different and do a twirl around card, I haven't done one in ages and had been having a rumage around in the darkest depths of my drawers found this stamp from Butterfly Kisses. I think that their images are really cute.
Coloured in with my Promarkers, I've kept it quite plain and simple - I don't think it needed much else. Just used Glitter paper, dp from stash, stickles nesties and a bit of thread viola. Sentiment was included with the image.

and the back

Challenges:-
Colour Create - Red, Gold White or cream (opt Christmas or oriental)
Cute Card Thursday - Play on words.
Thank you for stopping by,

Christmas Card for Rob.

Good Afternoon peeps,
Hasn't this week gone so fast - well it has for me. I feel like i'm in a time warp and it's just wizzing by!
I made another Christmas card - wooooo, only another 50 or so to go! - Made with one of my new stamps from LOTV. I styled it so it can be given to my nephew at Christmas who has just moved out of home for the first time to take up an apprentiship in Plymouth for two years, bless he is 19 but a real homely lad and I'm already missing him!The card fits in with the following challenges:-
LOTV - one for the boys.
Simon Says Challenge - Holiday fun (obviously Christmas)

Coloured with Promarkers, papers are unknown, stickles and glitter (which has just a slight glitter not too overpowering), flower punch is one of those that you emboss afterwords which is ace - would recommend those. Ticket sentiment is a Whimsey stamp.

Thanks for stopping by, your always welcome.

Get Well Soon

Hey there,

I had a wonderful Saturday - craft shopping at Manchester Central - I took my little bag of saved coins and came back with a bagful of stash. I've been in my element today - it beats clothes shopping anyday!!! I still could have done with a lot more money as there was so much more I would have liked to buy, but hey ho, will have to start saving again!

I've made a card that fits in with A Spoonful of Sugar - Anything with an animal on it. I thought my new Lili Of the Valley Stamp would fit perfectly.

I've coloured using my Promarkers and copics, used oval and scalloped nesties and lables nestie to. The papers are Nitwits. Sorry about the photo - I don't know why my camera is playing up - perhaps its something to ask Father Christmas for?

Well thank you for stopping by my blog.

Hugs,
